The University of Information Technology and Communications concluded its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week, held under the slogan “Ideas Take Flight from the Land of the Two Rivers,” after a series of diverse activities and programs that reflected the spirit of innovation and creativity among the university’s students and staff.

The closing day featured a lecture titled “Encouraging Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Their Importance in Community Development,” delivered by Dr. Ola Adel from the College of Engineering. In her lecture, she reviewed mechanisms for utilizing entrepreneurship programs to support student projects and transform ideas into viable initiatives.

The closing ceremony also included the announcement of the results of the hackathon competition organized by the university as part of the week’s events. The winning students in the Entrepreneurial Programmer competition were honored by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Hassan Mashali, who presented the awards and certificates of appreciation to the winners in recognition of their efforts and excellence.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Mashali presented certificates of appreciation to a number of faculty members and participants who contributed to the success of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week, affirming the spirit of cooperation and teamwork in supporting the innovation environment within the university.
