The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications , Professor Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, received the Deputy Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, Alaa Jahan Bakhsh Al-Mandalawi, during a visit he made to the campass.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Bakri and Al-Mandalawi discussed mechanisms for developing institutional work and coordination between the legislative and academic authorities, which would contribute to supporting digital transformation pathways and building capacities in the fields of information technology.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between government institutions and universities and exchanging scientific and practical expertise, which would positively reflect on improving administrative and technical performance and support the state’s direction towards modernizing digital infrastructure.
The meeting also stressed the necessity of engaging with specialized academic institutions and leveraging scientific capabilities to support legislation and programs related to technological transformation and digital governance.
