The Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications announces the holding of the fifth course on teaching methods towards blended learning according to the updated curriculum, which is dedicated to holders of master’s and doctoral degrees and those covered by the University Service Law in the humanities, educational, administrative, engineering and applied disciplines, and registration will be electronic via the link below, which will be activated on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 12:00 noon.

Those wishing to join the course should prepare a nomination letter for the course addressed to the University of Information Technology and Communications / Continuous Education Center, according to the course dates below.

* The start date for the course for humanities and educational and administrative disciplines will be 9/5/2026.
* The course for applied and engineering specialization will start on 10/5/2026 and will last for six weeks.

Course Location: The course will be held in the main university building located in Karrada, Al-Nidhal Street, near Ibn Al-Haytham Eye Hospital.

The course aims to prepare and qualify participants with the academic and educational skills necessary for university teaching according to modern teaching methods.

Important note: Please read the attached application requirements carefully to ensure your registration.

Registration requirements for courses on updated teaching methods:
1. The course includes holders of higher degrees under the University Service Law (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, public and private universities – Ministry of Education – Police College in Baghdad Governorate), and the nomination letter must conform to the format shown in the attached image, and the trainee’s nomination will be rejected if it does not conform to the above format.
2. Open specializations (humanities, education, administration, engineering, and applied sciences).
3. Registration is exclusively through the electronic link for each specialization and only once; and there is no paper application.
4. Nominations must be from residents of Baghdad Governorate only, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Directorate of Studies and Planning and Follow-up.
5. The application requirements for the course (a copy of the university order with the higher degree or the equivalency letter, and the nomination letter in its original copy) must be uploaded when registering via the electronic link.
6. The fees are (120) one hundred and twenty thousand dinars per participant and are paid according to the electronic payment mechanism before the start of the course.
7. Registration is based on priority in the course registration links for each specialization, and the required number for admission to the course is (50) participants.
8. Any registration will be rejected if the exact specialization does not match the specialization required for the course and if the data is not uploaded correctly within the electronic link.
9. The center will announce the names of those accepted and the completion of registration procedures before the start of the course.
10. The nomination letter for members of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Center is issued through the Directorate of Studies and Planning and Follow-up.
11. The maximum number of allowed absences is (3) hours for both in-person and online attendance, and a candidate whose absences exceed that is considered to have failed the course.
12. Participants in teaching methods courses are not allowed to postpone or withdraw and are required to repeat the course.
13. A participant who successfully completed the course is awarded a university order and a certificate of participation issued after the course is completed.
