The Biomedical Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications, represented by the Volunteer Work Committee team, participated in a workshop and dialogue seminar organized by the Federal Commission of Integrity in the educational building within Al-Zawra’a Park, which addressed the role of civil society organizations and volunteer teams in reducing societal and administrative corruption.
The college was represented by the head of the Student Activities Division, teaching staff Assist. Lect. Ali Abdul Qader, as part of a broad participation that included volunteer teams from governmental institutions, including the Baghdad Municipality, in addition to non-governmental organizations and teams.
The workshop stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between institutions and volunteer teams, given its active role in reducing manifestations of corruption and establishing a culture of reporting and accountability in society.
