Discourse SkillsIn line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at developing scientific and professional capabilities, and as part of the May 2026 program, the Continuing Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UOITC) organized a training course titled “Grammar and Spelling Rules in Official and Academic Discourse.”The course aimed to enhance participants’ skills in using proper Arabic grammar and to identify the most common linguistic and spelling errors in official and academic correspondence. This initiative seeks to elevate the standard of administrative and written performance within the university institution.The lectures were delivered by Dr. Lubna Abdulaziz Al-Ghussain from the College of Business Informatics, TA. Israa Jawad Ali Akbar from the Human Resources Department, and TA. Sabreen Ghalib Kadhim from the Office of the Administrative Assistant.The five-day course was attended by university faculty and staff members, who engaged with practical and cognitive sessions designed to refine official and academic writing skills.
