The Presidency of the University of Information Technology and Communications (UOITC) has received an official invitation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain to participate in the “University Students’ Procession.”
The event will take place on the 19th of Muharram, corresponding to Sunday, July 5, 2026.
This comes as part of the activities and events organized by the Holy Shrine to commemorate and offer condolences to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), with the participation of students and representatives from various academic institutions and universities.
The invitation entails the participation of the University President, along with a number of faculty members and students from various colleges, departments. Their participation aims to contribute to the procession’s activities, which seek to enhance communication between academic and community institutions, and to foster a culture of volunteerism and active participation among the youth.
This invitation is part of a broader effort to develop and support community initiatives, strengthen mutual cooperation, and build the spiritual and intellectual values of university students. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to activities that develop cultural and social awareness, emphasizing the crucial role of students in serving society and reinforcing the principles of belonging and social responsibility.
