The Department of Science and Technology Gardens organized a forum on the National University Robotics Championship and Applications of Artificial Intelligence, which will be held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the participation of several universities. Ten student teams representing our university’s colleges, along with teams from other universities, participated in this initiative to support innovation and stimulate promising technical projects.

In his speech during the forum, Dr. Haidar Hassan Mashali, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, emphasized the importance of harnessing the energies of youth and transforming creative ideas into practical solutions and projects that contribute to keeping pace with the rapid developments in technology and artificial intelligence.

The forum included a guidance session on the working mechanism and evaluation criteria presented by Dr. Muhannad Abdul Ilah Abbas, a faculty member at the College of Business Informatics, who reviewed key guidelines to support participating teams in developing their projects and presenting them according to established standards.

The event featured student teams showcasing their project ideas in a competitive atmosphere that reflected the level of creativity and technical skills possessed by the university students.
