As part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Women, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Business Informatics, University of Information Technology and Communications, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Women and Investment: Financing Opportunities and Entrepreneurship”. The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Jaafar.
The seminar addressed the importance of enhancing women’s economic empowerment and their role in supporting investment activities and entrepreneurial ventures. It highlighted the financing opportunities available for projects, as well as the mechanisms for accessing and benefiting from them. The seminar also reviewed the main challenges that women may face in the field of entrepreneurship and discussed ways to develop entrepreneurial skills and capabilities, contributing to the success and sustainability of business ventures.
This seminar is part of the programs and activities implemented by the College to support women and promote their economic empowerment, thereby enhancing their contribution to economic and social development.
