The Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications announces the launch of the sixth course on teaching methods for blended learning—based on the updated curriculum—designed for holders of Master’s and PhD degrees who are subject to the University Service Law across the following specializations: Humanities, Education, Administration, Engineering, and Applied Sciences.

Those wishing to join the course are requested to prepare a nomination letter addressed to the University of Information Technology and Communications / Continuous Education Center, in accordance with the course schedule below.

The course for humanities, educational, and administrative specializations is scheduled to begin on September 12, 2026, while the course for applied and engineering specializations will start on September 13, 2026, and run for six weeks.

Course Venue: The course will be held at the university’s main building, located in Karrada, Al-Nidhal Street, near Ibn Al-Haytham Eye Hospital.

The course aims to equip participants with the academic and pedagogical skills necessary for university teaching, in accordance with modern teaching methods.

Registration requirements for the updated teaching methods courses:
1. The course includes holders of higher degrees covered by the University Service Law (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research—public and private universities), the Ministry of Education, and the Police College in Baghdad Governorate. Nominations must be submitted using the format shown in the attached image; any nomination that does not comply with this format will be rejected.
2. Available specializations (Humanities, Education, Administration, Engineering, Applied Sciences).
3. Registration must be completed exclusively via the online link for each specialization and is limited to a single submission; paper-based applications are not accepted.
4. Nominations are restricted to residents of Baghdad Governorate, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Directorate of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up.
5. Course application requirements include a copy of the university order regarding the higher degree (or the degree equivalency letter), the original nomination letter, and a Baghdad-specific residence card (along with an employment contract for faculty members at private colleges); these documents must be uploaded via the online link during registration.
6. The fee is 120,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand) dinars per participant, payable via the electronic payment system prior to the start of the course.
7. Registration is based on a first-come, first-served basis via the course registration links for each specialization, with an admission capacity of 50 participants.
8. Any registration will be rejected if the specific specialization does not match the specialization required for the course, or if the data is not uploaded correctly via the online link.
9. The Center will announce the names of accepted applicants and the completion of registration procedures before the course begins.
10. The nomination of personnel from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is to be submitted through the Directorate of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up.
11. The maximum allowable number of hours of absence—combined for both in-person and online sessions—is three (3) hours; any candidate exceeding this limit is considered to have failed the course.

12. Participants in teaching methodology courses are not permitted to defer or withdraw and are required to retake the course.
13. Participants who successfully complete the course are awarded a certificate of participation, issued upon the course’s conclusion.
