Dr. Hassanein Majeed Al-Taie, a faculty member at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UOITC), delivered a specialized scientific lecture on security and cyber immunity at the Institute of Intelligence and Federal Investigations. The lecture, attended by the Major General and Assistant Dean of the Institute, was part of the scientific and knowledge requirements for the Officers’ Staff Course.The lecture addressed the most prominent challenges and threats in cyberspace, information security, and the protection of data and digital systems. It also covered the risks of social engineering and cyber-extortion, as well as the vital importance of enhancing digital security awareness among leadership and officers to raise readiness in confronting cyber risks.Dr. Al-Taie emphasized the significance of integration between traditional security and cybersecurity. He stressed the need to build an integrated cyber-immunity system based on human competency, institutional awareness, information governance, and modern security policies.This lecture comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and knowledge cooperation between academic and security institutions. It aims to contribute to transferring expertise and technological advancements into the security field, thereby supporting information protection and the national security system.
