The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Professor Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, conducted an inspection visit to the College of Engineering to review the educational process and monitor the progress of graduate students enrolled in the Master’s program in Mobile Communications Engineering.

The University President was accompanied during the visit by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Muayad Abdul-Ridha Saheb. He reviewed the curriculum and the academic materials offered to the students, listened to their academic and research needs and requirements, and emphasized the importance of providing a suitable educational and research environment that contributes to supporting their academic journey and achieving the program’s objectives.

Al-Bakri affirmed that graduate programs represent a fundamental pillar in preparing specialized scientific and research competencies and enhancing students’ ability to keep pace with the rapid developments in the fields of communications and information technology. He stressed the importance of raising the level of scientific research and academic output to align with the demands of technological development and the needs of the labor market.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Engineering affirmed the college’s commitment to providing a robust academic and research environment for postgraduate students, and to offering them the necessary support throughout their academic journey, thereby contributing to the development of their research skills and enhancing the quality of the college’s academic programs.
