The University of Information Technology and Communications commenced the new academic year 2026–2027 by holding a ceremony for raising the Iraqi flag within the university grounds, amidst an atmosphere that embodied pride in national identity and belonging to the academic institution.
The ceremony included the playing of the national anthem and the raising of the Iraqi flag, with participation from several university staff and students, marking the beginning of a new academic year in which the university looks forward to continuing its journey in education, scientific research, innovation, and community service.
The ceremony reflected the importance of instilling national values within the university environment and enhancing the spirit of responsibility and teamwork among students, alongside the university’s role in building a generation equipped with knowledge and digital skills that can actively contribute to the development process.
