The seminar was attended by a number of the college’s faculty members and staff, as well as those interested in legal and women’s issues.
The seminar, presented by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Kareem Ali, a faculty member at the college, aimed to enhance women’s legal awareness, introduce them to their rights and duties, and promote a legal culture that enables women to understand and exercise their rights through the means guaranteed by law.
The seminar addressed the key concepts related to women’s legal empowerment, with a focus on their rights in the workplace and the legal safeguards that protect them and help address forms of discrimination, violence, and violations. It also highlighted the most important laws and regulations in force, as well as the mechanisms for seeking assistance from the relevant authorities in cases of violations of rights. These efforts contribute to fostering a fairer and safer workplace and society, while strengthening women’s presence and active participation across various fields.
