The Continuing Education Center at the university organized a vetual seminar on gas emissions and their negative impact on the Earth’s atmosphere and global warming events.

The seminar, which was presented by the Head of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, Prof. Dr.. Hussain Abdul-Ridha Muhammad to the necessity of switching from the traditional means of energy for household electric generators to renewable energy.

The seminar reviewed the objectives of the Ministry of Environment by launching the national initiative to reduce emissions and encourage the use of renewable energies, by purchasing solar energy systems and dispensing with home generators, with support and financing from the Central Bank of Iraq and by installments system.
