The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, received a delegation from the Popular Mobilization and discussed mechanisms of cooperation between the two sides.
The visit of the delegation, headed by the Secretary of the Popular Mobilization Command, Lieutenant General Legist Tahseen Abd Matar Al-Aboudi, and Dr. Mr. Hussein Haydar Jasem Al-Bakhati / Director of the Education Directorate, and Ali Abdul-Hussein Hashem Al-Gharawi / Head of the University Education Department, to discuss joint cooperation mechanisms and benefit from the University’s specialized expertise in the field information technology and communications.
The two sides also discussed setting up a joint scientific exchange mechanism in the field of information technology and communications to develop the staff and cadres of the Popular Mobilization Committee.
The University president affirmed that the University of Information Technology and Communications is ready to provide services and open the door for cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Committee in various scientific and academic fields for the benefit of the country.
