The Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies / Iraqi Commission for Computer and Informatics conducted the competitive examination for postgraduate applicants (PhD, MA, Diploma) for the academic year 2020-2021.
The President of the Iraqi Commission for Computers and Informatics / President of UOITC Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsin Al-Bakri, accompanied by the Dean of the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi, inspected the competitive examination for those applying for postgraduate studies.
(PhD, Master, Diploma).
The President of the Commission, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, while roaming the examination halls, affirmed the Institute’s commitment to the admission plan for postgraduate studies, which was set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the academic year 2020-2021.
The dean of the institute (Prof. Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi) said that the number of applicants for the competitive examination reached 250 students, as the number of applicants for PhD studies reached 50 students, for masters studies 151, and for the higher diploma 49 students.
The dean of the institute confirmed that preventive measures have been taken since the students entered the main gate of the institute by measuring the temperature and spacing between the examined students in the examination halls, and the students were divided into six halls to take the test.
The president of the commission appreciated the efforts made by the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies, its stuff and the examiners, in receiving the applicants and applying health and safety measures.
