As part of the training and development project towards digital transformation in institutions, the Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications has concluded the eighth training course “Visual Basic .NET” which was carried out in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / the Committee for Coordination of Governmental Activities towards E-Government / Training, Development, and International Support Team.

The two-week course came as part of the training and development project towards digital transformation in institutions according to a training curriculum for employees of state institutions, where more than 40 employees in the field of information technology from various ministries and departments of the state participated, and the course was organized electronically, while the test was in the presence of the participants whose departments are in Baghdad and electronically for the participants whose departments are in the governorates, taking into account the current circumstances.

The lectures of the six-session were given by Ms. Hind Qahtan Aziz from the University of Information Technology and Communications.

The head of the training, development, and international support team at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, inspected the Continuous Education Center and was briefed on the progress of the test for the participants in the session.

Dr. Al-Bakri listened to the opinions of the participants regarding the training program and urged them to benefit from it to serve their institutions and reach good results in the implementation of the project, and prevention measures and social distancing were taken during the performance of the final test.

Dr. Al-Bakri indicated that this program is continuing to enable those involved in this field to train and update the programs required by their work.
