A group of students from the College of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information and Communication Technology participated in the fourth national robotics championship in Iraq, which was held at the University of Baghdad.
The tournament was organized at the College of Engineering Al-Khwarizmi, where the student Ahmed Rashid Mahmoud, second stage, Department of Smart Medical Systems, won third place in the university category for his project (chair for the disabled), and accordingly he will participate in the Qatar Championship.
A group of students from the Department of Smart Medical Systems, namely Taiba Firas Rekan, Reem Raad Fadel, Hassanein Riad Moeen, and Amin Firas Rikan from the third stage) also won the award for the best innovation in the championship in the university category also for their project (Blind Stick).
It is worth mentioning that M.D. Munira Abd Hamdi, Head of the Smart Medical Systems Department, participated in the jury of the same competition and was honored with a certificate of appreciation and the championship shield.
Many college students and from the two departments participated in organizing the tournament as volunteers, numbering more than thirty-five male and female students who wrote their names in the sky of leadership, creativity and excellence in the field of medical technology.
