The Continuing Education Center at the University of Information and Communications Technology, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / Committee for the Coordination and Management of Government Activity towards e-Government, the training, development and international support team, organized the second development workshop within the third phase of 2023 of the training program for capacity building for employees of state institutions towards electronic transformations.

The workshop, entitled “Advanced Computer Networks”, was presented by Prof. Dr. Golan Rokan Nayef, a teacher at the Iraqi Commission for Computers and Informatics and m. Weam Saadi Hamza, a teacher at the University of Information and Communication Technology, which was organized over five days from 2-6/4/2023, On the first day, I dealt with an introduction to computer networks, network building levels, network operations versus system operations and network protocols, On the second day, the fourth version of the Internet protocol and transmission control and the discussion of the sixth version.

On the third day, the workshop dealt with network devices and an introduction to Ethernet , and on the fourth day, the workshop completed guidance, dynamic guidance and configuration of Cisco services, and on the fifth and last day of the workshop, the lecturers dealt with the functions of network equipment and network speed, as well as discussing the axes with the trainees from the employees of state institutions.
