The Faculty of Biomedical Informatics in the University of Information Technology and Communications held an exhibition of Bioinformatics Department students’ projects in the presence of the president of the University.
The students presented their scientific projects that varied between AI applications in the medical field and some other vital applications
The president of the University prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri made some valuable remarks to students for the purpose of improving and developing their projects. He also stressed the need to support these projects and to involve the beneficiaries of these projects in the future labour market.
The exhibition was attended by the President of the University, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and a number of university professors who praised the scientific achievement of students and projects. He made some remarks aimed at improving and developing these projects.
For her part, Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Informatics asserted asst. Prof. Dr. Intisar Shadeed the importance of organizing these scientific activities to present and discuss students’ projects with professors which enhance their practical experience. She also praised the role of the head of the department and professors who supervised these projects.
