The University of Information Technology and Communications participated in the University of Baghdad International Road Race Forum, which was held at the University of Baghdad, and hosted a group of public and private universities.
A large number of Iraqi public and private universities participated in the sports forum, in addition to Arab and Islamic participation represented by Jordan, Lebanon and Iran.
It is worth noting that the forum held its technical conference on Saturday evening 14th of October, while the races began on Sunday 15th of October, with a distance of (10 km) for male students and (3 km) for female students.
Our university delegation was headed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Imad Kadhum Abed Al-Ka’abi, Director of the Student Activities Department.
The University team was also accompanied by two lecturers in the same department, namely Dr. Muhammad Saeb / trainer, assisted by Assist. Lect. Naofal Majed Mohi, while the University team consisted of two students from the Biomedical Informatics College and a male and female student from the Engineering College.
The forum was attended by a representative of the Minister, the Head of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, and MP Dr. Yassin Al-Ithawi and Captain Adnan Derjal.
This activity is considered the first student activity for the academic year 2023-2024 in which the University participates.
