Fatma Asa’ad Hikmat, a master’s student at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Communications, in collaboration with a team of international researchers from Indonesia, has published a joint research paper entitled: “Lexicographic Ordering in n-dimensional Space: Exploring Completeness Properties”.
The paper studies lexical ordering in space ℝⁿ, analyzing the basic properties of this ordering, including inequality, the Archimedean property, and the completeness property, while reviewing practical applications in the fields of database management, programming algorithms, and language processing.
The research was published in Issue 55, Volume 10, of the Journal of IAENG International Journal of Applied Mathematics, and it is an open access peer-reviewed scientific journal, classified within Scopus Q3 with an SJR impact index of 0.26.
This achievement represents an important step in the student’s academic career and reflects the level of academic excellence of students at the University of Information Technology and Communications, and their ability to contribute to international scientific research and global research collaboration.
