The Dean of the College of Business Informatics, Assistant Professor Dr. Nagham Hamed, participated in the defense of a master’s thesis at the Department of Information Networks, College of Information Technology / University of Babylon, titled “Enhancing Security for the Internet of Things Using IOTA 2.0 Technology”. This participation comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic collaboration and exchange scientific expertise in modern technology fields.

The thesis explored methods for improving security in Internet of Things (IoT) systems by employing IOTA 2.0 technology, which is considered a promising solution for addressing security challenges related to data transmission, identity verification, and privacy protection in connected smart devices.

The discussion, attended by several professors and students, included in-depth scientific debate about the research components and methodologies used.
