The University of Information Technology and Communications has signed a joint cooperation agreement with Alfa International Company, which is responsible for organizing the International Exhibition and Conference on Information Technology and Communications “ITEX IRAQ.”
The agreement, which included seven clauses, was signed by Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri on behalf of the university and by Managing Director Haidar Abdul-Muttalib Ahmed on behalf of the company, in support of the university’s participation in the international conference.
Dr. Al-Bakri stated on the sidelines of the signing ceremony: “We believe in the importance of engaging with the private sector and international initiatives that contribute to the development of higher education. This agreement represents an important step towards supporting an environment of innovation and scientific research and enhancing the university’s role in the digital transformation journey in Iraq and the region.”
The agreement aims to enhance the participation of the University of Information Technology and Communications in organizing scientific events, workshops, cultural sessions, training courses, and patents, in addition to providing opportunities for faculty members and students to present research and scientific projects and to support communication between academics and industry specialists.
