Based on the directives of the Prime Minister, the Continuous Education Department at the University of Information Technology and Communications, in cooperation with the International Electronic Card Company, organized an educational workshop entitled “Defining Electronic Payment Services and Digital Transformation.” The workshop was presented by Ms. Hajar Falah Abdul Sahib, Mr. Mohammed Aboud Sabit, and Mr. Ali Akbar Falah, representatives of the International Electronic Card Company. It covered several main topics, including types of electronic payment systems, the most prominent service providers locally and globally, in addition to the security aspects related to digital transactions. The workshop witnessed great interaction from the participants who discussed the most prominent challenges and opportunities in the field of digital payment. It aimed to introduce the attendees to the concepts of electronic payment, modern technologies used in digital transfers and their role in facilitating financial transactions and enhancing digital transformation across various sectors.
