Assist. Lect. Aws Jabbar Al-Lami, a faculty member in the Media Technology Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC), participated in the activities of the CineGouna Market,that was held as part of the El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt.

The event brought together a distinguished group of filmmakers, producers, and representatives of media and cultural organizations from around the world.

His participation included professional networking meetings with a number of producers and filmmakers, as well as opportunities to explore the latest trends and technologies in film and television production and digital media.

Discussions also covered opportunities for co-production and distribution, helping to expand professional partnerships and strengthen the presence of Iraqi productions on the international film scene.

This participation aims to promote the visibility of Iraqi academic and professional talent on international platforms and to draw on advanced expertise and industry experience in the creative industries. It also seeks to bring practical knowledge into the university environment, enhance students’ skills, and strengthen the link between academic education and the evolving needs of the job market in digital media and visual production.
