A Lecture on the Importance of Training and Qualification to Meet the Requirements of the Labor Market

The Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University of Information Technology and Communications held a lecture on the importance of training and qualification to meet the requirements of the labor market.

The lecture was given by Eng. Qahtan Adnan from Al-Marjan Bay for Information Technology and Software. The lecture dealt with the importance of the field training for students in public and private sector institutions in order to prepare them for a job opportunity after graduation.

Engineer Qahtan Adnan said that the economic situation experienced by the country and the difficulty in obtaining a job in the state institutions should be an incentive for the trainee students to reach the stage of professionalism in his field of work, thus making it a greater opportunity to get any job, whether in government or private sector.

The director of Coral Bay said that the company is ready to train university students for a period of three to six months in order to learn more about the practical side and acquire the skill required to integrate it with the academic study to reach the professional stage and thus the job is within reach.

The lecture was attended by a number of students who got a job at the company and a number of university students from the final stages as well as the staff and professors of the university.
