Nidhal Al-Abadi, head of the Division of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the University of Information Technology and Communications, participated in the TOT government training program for the Council of Ministers/National Security Advisory – Strategic Psychological Cell for the project to activate the role of psychological counseling and educational guidance in Iraqi universities.
The program was held in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Service, and following what was stated in the ministerial curriculum, the fourteenth axis on education, where the National Security Advisory focused on building capabilities and coordination to secure qualitative training opportunities for higher education staff.

The program focused on the psychological counseling and educational guidance segment due to the importance of protecting the university campus from negative phenomena and wrong behaviors and to prepare generations with a solid methodology, as the training curriculum was prepared for all public and private universities, which numbered (107) participating universities.
