The University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) hosted His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Salman Al-Ahmadi from the country of Tunisia. Sheikh Ahmed Salman presented an awareness-raising seminar for students, professors, and university staff. The seminar focused on Islamic concepts and the role of youth in improving the scientific, social, and religious reality, and spreading the spirit of love and communication in society. Sheikh Al-Ahmedi shed light on the role of religion in Islamic society, and the challenges facing Muslim youth. His eminence also explained how to combat extremism and the deliberate distortion of Islamic teachings in light of technological development and the invasion of Western culture into Islamic and Arab societies. During the seminar, the eminence answered the questions of the attendees, which focused on several religious, scientific, social, and economic concepts.

On his part, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, appreciated the role of Sheikh Ahmed Salman in providing such fruitful seminars and dialogues, especially those targeting the youth.
