The Establishment of Postgraduate Studies in the College of Engineering

The Master’s program in the Department of Mobile Communications and Computing Engineering at the College of Engineering was established on (September 17, 2023), under University Order No. (B.T.H./7583). This achievement was made possible through the dedicated efforts of a distinguished group of professors and qualified staff, who worked for over a year prior to the college welcoming its students to prepare the necessary requirements for launching the program. This included developing curriculum components, laboratories, and administrative and technical resources. Efforts continue to recruit faculty and staff in alignment with the ongoing advancements within the college. Today, the College of Engineering awards a Master’s degree in Mobile Communications Engineering. The program duration is 24 months: the first year is preparatory, and the second year is research-based, with the option to extend the research phase twice, depending on the student’s needs.
