discussed the detection of land cover change based on the spatial data mining techniques. The thesis proposed these effective techniques to study, analyse and predict the changes in land cover which implies the trees, grass, range lands, water, buildings and other parameters and their expansion and shrinkage to help the environment preserving organisation and authorities to plan for effective Ecological systems to achieve successful management of natural environment resources and to control the irregular expansion in build up areas. After deep scientific discussions by the discussion committee the student “ Rasha Abbas Ali “ passed the VIVA successfully with evaluation “Good” in computer science.
