The Computer Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC), in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, organized a scientific seminar titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Institutional Management.”
The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ban Essam Rashid from the Computer Center and Assistant Lecturer Heba Ayed Wasmi from the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance.
The seminar addressed the concept of Artificial Intelligence, its operational mechanisms, and its growing role in developing institutional management. Additionally, it reviewed the most prominent challenges facing its applications across various work environments.
It also highlighted models of institutional AI utilization in several vital sectors, including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and customer service.
Furthermore, the seminar featured a detailed presentation on the role of AI in the field of Human Resources Management, specifically its deployment in recruitment and hiring processes, professional training and development, employee onboarding, and managing internal job transfers.
This was demonstrated through a number of specialized applications and platforms, including Reflective, HireVue, EdCast, and GapJumpers.
