Prof. Dr. Suha Mohamed Hadi, Dean of the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UOITC), met with Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Kadhim Ajil, Dean of the Higher Institute for Preparing and Qualifying Leaders, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in preparing and qualifying leadership capacities. This meeting comes within the framework of the “Preparing Future Leaders” program, dedicated to assistant directors-general and lower job grades.
During the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Ali Hassan Tarish, Assistant Dean of the Informatics Institute for Scientific Affairs, both parties discussed mechanisms for expanding the scopes of cooperation between the two institutions. They explored the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support academic and training programs, develop pathways for qualifying talents, and build leadership capacities across state institutions.
Both sides emphasized the importance of utilizing the academic and training expertise and capabilities available at both institutions. This collaboration aims to enhance the skills of the participants in leadership preparation programs, bolstering their capacity to assume administrative responsibilities and keep pace with institutional work requirements.
The “Preparing Future Leaders” program, launched by the Higher Institute for Preparing and Qualifying Leaders at the Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers—under the directives of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers—is a dedicated initiative aimed at developing and qualifying assistant directors-general within the three presidencies, ministries, and other government entities. The program seeks to build qualified leadership cadres capable of assuming administrative responsibilities and contributing to the enhancement of institutional performance.
