The University President receives the Shield of Moon Gate for Information Technology

The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, received the shield of the Moon Gate for Information and Communication Technologies.
Dr. Jane Jalil Atefian, Assistant of the President of the University for Scientific Affairs, accompanied by the Director of Department of student Affairs , Dr. Mohammed Kassem, presented the shield of Moon Gate for Information and Communication Technologies to the President of the University on behalf of the company after the participation of the university students in the competition of the leading community program in Iraq.
The university was honored by the company’s shield for the continuous efforts the Rehabilitation and Employment division make and the continuous communication with private and government institutions and companies to support the training programs for students. Besides giving the university free training courses to the first students in the field of information and communications.
Zahra Mohammed Abdul Ali, graduate student from the College of Business Informatics, received the ninth position in the competition and a position at the company above.

The Bridge program was organized by the Moon Gate for Information and Communication Technologies, in cooperation and guidance by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, the IRIX organization, for the rehabilitation and employment people in Iraqi universities, and the supporting bodies for this project which aims to train and develop the skills of graduates and students to integrate the labor market and the employment opportunities of young people in the private sector.
