The University of Information Technology and Communications entered the Russian ranking of universities RUR.

The university was able to make progress in the classification from last year, where it came in the 11th place locally after it was in the 13th place, while it advanced globally to 77th place after it was ranked 789 in the classification last year.

The RUR classification is considered one of the leading classifications, and it is organized by reputable scientific institutions and agencies, foremost of which is the Clarfit Foundation specialized.

This classification is based on 20 indicators distributed on four axes: education, scientific research indicators, and international diversity, in addition to the financial sustainability of the educational institution. It also relies on Clarivate Analytics as the main source of data collection and evaluates 1100 universities and educational institutions from more than 82 countries.
