The Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications completed the first training course for the two projects of developing and qualifying university leaders and human resources / administrative skills axis.
This course was based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, and in implementation of the two projects of developing and qualifying university leaders according to a scientific plan developed for the years (2023, 2024, 2025) and according to five axes.
The first training course lasted for five days, from 14-18/5/2023, and was attended by a number of officials of departments, divisions, and units in the University and its faculties, who received scientific training at the hands of qualified professors from the University.
The training course dealt with topics of organizational structures, job descriptions, strategic planning, powers authorization, administrative correspondence, meetings management, preparing a feasibility study and re-engineering of administrative processes, as well as the elements of successful management such as planning, organization and censorship.
The course concluded with the participants performing the test, as the Assistant to the University President for scientific affairs and the official of the central committee, Dr. Louay Edward George, and the members of the supervising committee were keen to be present to see closely the reality of the first development course for university leaders and human resources.
