The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, announced the launch of the Higher Education Award competition for reading for students of preliminary studies in all Iraqi universities.

The Minister of Education set the value of the award at one hundred million dinars, distributed among twenty winners, by five million dinars for each student, and the award is based on the competition to read the book (Conditions of the Renaissance) by the Arab thinker Malik bin Nabi.

Registration on the competition platform (https://awards.mohesr.gov.iq/ra) will continue until 15/8/2023, and registered students will take an electronic test on 20/8/2023 and the login information for each student through his official university e-mail so that they can participate in the exam, whose material is based on the chosen book exclusively.

Competition Conditions:

▪️The award is for students of preliminary studies in public and private universities (morning and evening study).

▪️The competitor must be an Iraqi national.

▪️The age of the competitor should not exceed 30 years.

▪️Competitors are subject to a public draw to select twenty winners from among the top hundred contestants in the prize exam.

▪️ The twenty winners will be awarded a cash prize (five million dinars) for each winner.

In this context, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, calls on university students to participate in this important cultural event with the aim of stimulating positive awareness and interaction with the reading of civilized texts.
