The Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications completed the fifth training course for the development and qualification of university leaders and human resources (self-skills axis).
This course comes based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, and in implementation of the two projects of developing and qualifying university leaders according to a scientific plan developed for the years (2023, 2024, 2025) and according to five axes.
The fifth training course lasted for five days, from 6-10/8/2023, and was attended by a number of officials of departments, divisions, and units in the University and its faculties, who received scientific training.
The session was presented by Prof. Dr. Sinan Abdul-Aali Naji, Dr. Alaa Talal Yassin and Dr. Maha Fadhel Ibrahim from the University of Information Technology and Communications.
The course dealt with many topics related to the side of the self-skills that should be distinguished by employees of department and divisional officials, including translation skills, presentation skills, communication skills, and creative thinking skills.
The course also dealt with how to write notes and administrative records, verbal and non-verbal communication, and the development of outside-the-box thinking skills, as well as managing stress under work pressure, international agreements, and public relations.
The course concluded with performing the electronic test for the participants in the fifth and final development course for university leaders and human resources at the University.
