The presidency of the University of Information Technology & Communications (UoITC)
, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, and officials of the Continuing Education Center, met a team from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The meeting comes to organize the work of the training program to build capabilities for employees of government institutions towards digital transformations, which is organized by UoITC, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the International Training, Development and Consulting Team. During the meeting, the two parties discussed how to support institutions towards the transition to e-governance.
They also evaluated the previous stage and suggested some recommendations for the next stage. The target parties were also identified who are (IT managers, specialists in the field of networks, and applications, and workers in the field of IT and technical support).
Workshops that were accomplished so far were also discussed such as the electronic services creation platform workshop and the smart data platform workshop, and the possibility of supporting the university to complete and implement workshops and development courses.
It is noteworthy that the training program is in its fourth phase, as its previous phases included many workshops and specialized training courses in the field of e-government and facilitating procedures.
