In response to the initiative of the Prime Minister, Engineer Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to create an effective environment to invest the skills, advantages, and talents of young people and job seekers, and to train and prepare them for the economic market to create a significant financial impact on the local community.
In order to make this day the beginning of the journey towards success and start improving skills and developing ideas to launch private projects, the University of Information Technology and Communications witnessed the launch of activities to celebrate International Entrepreneurship Day.
The University President, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, began his speech at the opening of the International Entrepreneurship Day activities to encourage and urge the University’s students and members to think about development and entrepreneurial projects and improve implementable proposals and ideas, as well as building a generation of young people capable of challenges and entering the labor market.
The University launched the “Entrepreneurial Programmer” competition, where many questions were asked to University students in all its colleges, in addition to showing some encouraging films about the Entrepreneurship initiative and International Entrepreneurship Day.
The University also received the ministerial committee headed by Dr. Firas Ma’an Abdul Sattar from the Research and Development Directorate, and the membership of Dr. Doa’a Mahmoud Abbas, assist. lect. Hussam Yehya Abdul Wahed, and Mrs. Shams Dhiaa Alwan, expressed their admiration for the festive activities.
