The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, announced the launch of the campaign of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities and institutions to relief the afflicted in Syria.

This came in his speech during the central graduation ceremony of the students of the University of Information and Communication Technology, where he stressed that Iraqi universities, despite the diversity of their specializations and paths at the governmental and private levels, represent an effective environment to achieve lofty goals and mission that start from the human being and end with him, as they bear neutral responsibilities that identify with the positive situation and record their positions away from negative collapse or unilateral descriptions..

He explained that the launch of the campaign of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities and institutions to relief the afflicted in Syria comes in the context of meeting the voice and conscience of humanity to relief the afflicted in Syria and to help its children, women and elderly as a result of the repeated earthquakes, praising at the same time the response of educational institutions to this appeal, which embodies the identity of Iraq and the positions of its noble people.
