The Ministerial Committee ends the work of supervision of the evaluation exams at Al Rasheed University Colleg

the Ministerial Committee supervised by the Ministerial Foreign Auditorial Examines at the University College, which has been distributed to three spaced geographical sites, Al-Tarmia , Al Hussein Street and Al-Nedhal street, Sections include sick and nursing, dental, pharmacy, and law. The Committee has overturned exams for students of second and third and fourth phases in the forms of analyzes and law, and second stages to the fifth in dental and pharmacy sections, with the number of students covered by examinations (2853) students. The tasks of the Committee were distributed throughout the day since sevenam and until the end of exams, including the preparation of detailed reports for each examination, and sent the final electronic position of each article. The Committee chaired Assistant Professor Dr. Imad Kathem Abdel Mohammed Al-kabi , and included its membership of 13 teachings and training from various departments and faculties of the university, who made exceptional efforts to ensure the flow and implementation of the exams and implemented according to ministerial standards. The College of Medical Informatics Organizes a Humanitarian Visit for Children with Cancer at the Medical City

The College of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a field visit to the Child Protection Hospital affiliated with the Medical City Department. The visit aimed to support children with cancer morally and financially, and to provide for their basic needs to alleviate some of their suffering.

The visiting delegation was headed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Intisar Shadid cheleib, accompanied by a number of faculty members. They were received by the Director General of the Medical City Department, Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi. During the visit, the proceeds from the charity bazaar held by the college for the benefit of the children were distributed, along with gifts provided by the Volunteer Work Committees affiliated with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Health.

This initiative was held in cooperation with the Volunteer Work Committees at the Ministry of Health and the Prime Minister’s Office, as part of joint national efforts to promote the values of humanitarian work and social solidarity. During the meeting, avenues for future cooperation between the college and the Medical City hospitals in the educational and healthcare fields were also discussed.

This visit embodies the college’s commitment to its social responsibility and its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups, contributing to improving the lives of sick children and boosting their morale.

UoITC Organizes a Symposium on Encouraging Women’s Participation in Parliamentary Elections

The University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) organized a symposium on encouraging women’s participation in elections, constitutional guarantees, and effective strategies.

The symposium was presented by assistant lecturers Murooj Abbas Mutlaq from the Department of Legal Affairs, and Nairi Abdullah Naeem from the College of Business Informatics. It aimed to support and encourage women in political and electoral process and the necessity for women to be key players and participants in it. The first part of the symposium dealt with constitutional guarantees and participation in political and electoral process, emphasizing that the democratic system is based on gender equality in all fields, whether political, economic, or social. Since Iraq is approaching legislative elections in November 2025, it is necessary to strengthen women’s political role and encourage their participation in the electoral process

While the second part of the symposium showed effective strategies to achieve participation and protect women from political violence and blackmail, enacting laws that protect and support women, and ensuring their implementation, especially the women’s quota along with providing financial incentives for parties that guarantee women’s representation on their lists. Effective strategies and plans that encourage women’s political role and also enhance their participation were also discussed. It also focused on raising awareness and education by holding workshops and seminars that encourage and support women and providing a safe environment for women in voting. This is consistent with achieving Goal (5) of the Sustainable Development Goals that are related to gender equality.
